1900 hrs. The 27th Run of the Cycle. Hit the trail—literally—and survived to tell about it. Dusk, limited sight, and a tree root jumped up and grabbed me. Left side scrapes and contusions. Nothing broken! Heavy Metal Revisited on the Box. Completed the 4.42 miles in 54:00 for a 12:14 min/mile pace. Mahalo.

1900 hrs. 26th Run of the Cycle. Post-Thunderstorm Blues. Hot and brutally Humid conditions prevailed. Mud, puddles of fear, and fallen branches littered the trail. A warm 85 degrees Fahrenheit (29 degrees Celsius) with the RH a resounding 80%. North Florida Summer fun. The Tragically Hip on the Box. Slow and Low that is the tempo. Completed the 4.43 miles in 57:28 for a 12:58 min/mile pace. Mahalo.
