Temp was a spring-like 68 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius) with variable winds. Layered up with long sleeves and shorts. Spartacus Redux mix on the box, yet again. Completed the 6.02 miles in a sub-sonic 59:54 for a 9:57 min/mile pace. Mahalo.

1130 hrs. A back-back to finish out the week. Abridged route on the nature trail and through Central Park for a change of pace. Temp was a cool 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius) with clear, blue skies and a nice breeze from the west. Layers of dri-fit. Spartacus Redux mix on the box. 1400 hrs. Rare early PM run through familiar territory. Cool, overcast, and misty, on this, the Winter Solstice. Temp was a deceiving 47 degrees Fahrenheit (8 degrees Celsius). Another week of running commenced under cloudy skies and a cool north breeze. The temperature was a lovely 46 degrees Fahrenheit (8 degrees Celsius), while the wind and the grey and the humidity made it feel a bit colder. Layered up with long-sleeves, a skull cap, and shorts. 1000 hrs. Cool morning run with overcast skies, the hint of rain, and a slight breeze from the north. Temp at the starting line was 11 degrees Celsius (about 51 degrees Fahrenheit for those of you scoring at home). Layered up with shorts, a skull cap, and long-sleeved dri fits. The 1980s Revisited mix provided the musical entertainment. Extended the go-to maintenance run to the threshold of "long run" distance, but stayed in single-digit mileage. Completed the 9.01 miles in 1:31:13 for an average pace of 10:07 min/mile. A solid run from beginning to end. Finished the week with 25 miles. Mahalo.

Ran the last mile in typhoon conditions. Temp was a warm 77 degrees Fahrenheit (25 degrees Celsius) at the onset. Shorts and sleeveless. Spartacus Redux Mix on the box. Completed the 5.03 miles in 48:31 for a 9:39 min/mile pace. Closed out November with 85 miles. Mahalo.
