0800 hrs. Campus Loop. Extended run on a cold, windy Saturday morning. Temperature was 27 degrees Fahrenheit (-3 degrees Celsius) with a 10-15 mph wind from the North. Layered up in full winter gear for this one. Headed South past the Highway 9 boundary and curved back North past the Municipal campus before returning home through the residential environs. Completed the 8.39 miles in 1:29:47 in 10:42 min/mile. Finished the week with 12 miles on two runs. Skipped the mid-week run yet again. Mahalo.

0545 hrs. Dawn Patrol. Campus Loop. Marine Layer Fog. Another week of quality running looms. Hit the trail to cool, damp conditions, as a thick layer of fog blanketed the campus and surrounding environs. Temp was a manageable 42 degrees Fahrenheit (6 degrees Celsius) with a steady breeze from the South. Layered up with dri-fits, gloves, and a soft-shell. Completed the 3.56 miles in a sub-sonic 37:06 for a 10:26 min/mile pace.

0800 hrs. Campus Loop. Extended Route. 34 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degree Celsius) with a strong wind out of the South. Layered up with the go-to dri fits, gloves, and a soft shell for this one. Hit the trail at the appointed time and headed South past the Highway 9 boundary before heading back North through the campus and residential environs. Spartacus Redux Mix on the box. Completed the 7.39 miles in 1:13:08 for a 9:54 min/mile average pace. Skipped the mid-week run, so I only finished with eleven miles on two runs. Proud. Mahalo.

0545 hrs. Dawn Patrol. Campus Loop. Inaugurating another week of late-autumn running, as the morning temps continue to hover around the freezing mark. Semi-frigid morning run through familiar environs. A coolish 34 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degrees Celsius) with a slight North breeze. Layered up for this one. Completed the 3.58 miles in 35:06 for a 9:48 min/mile average pace. Mahalo.

0800 hrs. Campus Loop. Completed the 5.54 miles in 55:35  for a 10:02 min/mile pace. Cool conditions (35 degrees Fahrenheit, 2 degrees Celsius) with a slight breeze from the North. Layered up for this one. Broke with tradition and did not extend the route this morning. It was a solid maintenance run through familiar territory. Mahalo.

0545 hrs. Dawn Patrol. Campus Loop. Frozen: strong North wind made the 35 degrees Fahrenheit (2 degrees Celsius) feel like 27 degrees Fahrenheit (-3 Celsius). Layered up with dri-fits and a running jacket, along with the heavy gloves and mask. Definitely overkill, but it was nice and warm heading home with the Polar wind pounding me. Slow and Low was definitely the tempo. Completed the 3.37 miles in 34:41 for a 10:18 min/mile average pace. Mahalo.

0900 hrs. Extended Campus Loop to inaugurate another month of running. Donned long-sleeves and shorts for a beautiful Saturday morning run through familiar territory. Temp was a cool 9 degrees Celsius (48 degrees Fahrenheit) with a slight North breeze. Headed South and crossed the Highway 9 perimeter before swinging back North through the campus. Completed the 7.19 miles in 1:10:14 for a 9:47 min/mile pace. Played the Spartacus Redux Mix on the box. Mahalo.
