April 27, 2021

1730 hrs. Hot (87 degrees Fahrenheit, 31 degrees Celsius) with 25% humidity. Trail Running Bliss continues with this, the 7th run of the cycle. Doctor's orders keeping me to two runs per week for two months is allowing me the time to get back into the groove without overdoing it. It feels good to be back on the trail. Forgive me if I repeat myself. Building mileage and lung capacity are always a good thing. Lithium Mix on the Box. Completed the 4.48 miles in 51.47 for an 11:34 minute per mile pace. Mahalo.

Channeled my inner David Goggins to finish strong. Punk Mix on the Box. Completed the 4.50 miles in 54:15 for a pedestrian 12:04 min/mile pace. Mahalo.

1800 hrs. Back in the saddle again. Again. Trail Running Bliss. Back to the grind after taking the last six months off to nurse two debilitating injuries: IT Band Syndrome and Plantar Fasciitis. I have resigned myself to running the trails for the rest of my life. Lithium Mix on the box. Completed the 3.37 miles in 45:23 for a 13:27 min/mile average pace. #1 for the cycle. Mahalo.
