In the Evening. Another brutally humid pm run. The temp, however, was a manageable 72 degrees Fahrenheit, or 22 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of 95%. Returned to the classic Eastern Approach route for a change of pace. Skirting the Eastern boundary of the campus to its Southern reaches and a return on the Western boundary, through the South Greek and campus environs. Beautiful, calm, minimal traffic and various running surfaces with which to contend. Completed the 6.03 miles in 59:57 for a 9:56 min/mile average pace. First sub-10 minute per mile pace since June 18th. Solid finish. Mahalo.
