0540 hrs. Dawn Patrol. Campus Loop. Inaugurated another month of running with today's five-miler. Outstanding Autumn morning for running: a nice 63 degrees Fahrenheit (17 degrees Celsius) with 85% humidity. It's amazing to think that I am running in shorts and muscle shirts on the first day of November. In Oklahoma. Completed the 5.01 miles in 48:22 for a sub-sonic 9:39 min/mile average pace. BRIs added unnecessary drama and fear to the run. Barely made it home. Mahalo.
