0815 hrs. Back in the game after taking a few days off for R and R purposes. Hit the road to brutal heat (83 degrees Fahrenheit, 28 degrees Celsius) and high humidity (90%). No breeze. Started somewhat respectable, and then cratered around the three-mile mark. Proud. Spartacus Redux Mix on the box, per custom. Completed the 4.40 miles in a sub-sonic 48:23 for an 11:00 min/mile pace. Water stop at mile three saved me. Mahalo.
