A very methodical Saturday morning "long run" to wrap up the first week of Higdon's training regiment. Temps in the mid-30s yet again; negligible wind. Purposefully slow pace for an easy 8.04 miles. Finished in 1:2:24 for a 10:07 min/mile average. According to Run Keeper, this morning's run was my longest since June 23, 2013. Smashing Pumpkins on the box. Resting on Sunday. 5-5-4-9 planned for Week Two. Chest and Tri and Back and Bi workouts.
