0530 hrs. Under cover of darkness. Abridged loop through the neighborhood. Cold (for Florida) at the onset with temps hovering around 39 degrees Fahrenheit (4 degrees Celsius) with a fairly strong breeze out of the north. Layered up with tights, long-sleeves, skull cap, and gloves. Kept the music at the shack. Completed the 2.42 miles in 23:47 for a 9:50 min/mile pace. Mahalo.
