0815 hrs. Daylight. Campus Loop. Awoke to the coolest temps of Autumn, 2016 thus far (43 degrees Fahrenheit, 6 degrees Celsius) and insignificant relative humidity (60%). A slight North breeze helped cool things off. Headed to campus through the Elm Portal and then crossed Highway 9, looped back to Jenkins and finished by way of the Eastern Front. Felt great to run in the cool, crisp October air. Long-sleeves, gloves and a soft shell to get me through. Completed the 7.14 miles (11.4 km) in 1:13:31 for a 10:18 min/mile average pace. Two runs for 12.14 miles (19.5 km) this week to ease back into my routine after nine-days off. New shoes this week, as I'm running on spent sleds at this stage of the game (412 miles, 663 km). Mahalo.
