0630 hrs. Dawn Patrol. Campus Loop. Wine-Soaked Bliss. Hot (74 degrees Fahrenheit, 23 degrees Celsius) and extremely humid (95%) as the sunlight hit the olive oil. Headed South, per custom, to the Highway 9 perimeter and then back North, through campus, to the shack. Slow and methodical. Completed the 5.24 miles in a slow, dazed 55:17 for a 10:33 min/mile pace.
