1730 hrs. Back at it after another week between runs. Hit the trail to cool-ish temps (65 degrees Fahrenheit, 18 degrees Celsius) and a nice breeze from the North. Completed the 3.31 miles in 39:00 minutes for a 11:47 min/mile average pace. Mahalo.

1800 hrs. Trail Running Bliss. High-ankle sprain sidelined me for November. Hit the trail twice in December and experienced some lingering soreness. Took December off as a precaution. Back in the game with a 3.10 mile trail run through familiar territory. Completed the loop in 37:47 for a pedestrian 12:11 min/mile pace. A coolish 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius) as the sun set in North Florida. Long-sleeves and shorts. Feels good to be back. Mahalo.

1800 hrs. Trail Bliss. Relatively cool (63 degrees Fahrenheit, 17 Celsius) and overcast post-thunderstorm landscape. Completed the 3.39 miles in 40:15 for an average pace of 11:54 min/mile. Slower times, but easier on the ankle at this point. Solid run through dark, unfamiliar territory for a nice change of pace. Mahalo.

1800 hrs. Back in the game since being sidelined with a severe ankle sprain at the end of October. Hit the trails around the soccer complex. Completed the 3.17 miles in 39:07 for a 12:19 min/mile average pace. More importantly, the right ankle held up nicely--no pain or discomfort. Lithium Mix on the box. Mahalo.
